Hey guys, I don't know how large these things can be, so I'll try to share my thoughts here - or as much of them as I can.

I've been gone a while, and I'm sorry about that. In truth, I could have continued writing every day, but there was a very critical reason why I wasn't.

When I started Eldrim, I harboured a secret hope that it might win WSA, though realistically I knew it was unlikely. A year later, just as I expected, it did not win. But I genuinely, really put a lot of thought and effort into it, so the fact that it didn't even get an honourable mention just kinda really bummed me out.

For me, Eldrim is a book that I want to make as awesome and epic as possible. For this book, I take inspiration from my favourite book series, The Wheel of Times, I take inspiration from the father of fiction Lord of the Rings, I draw inspiration from more modern books I like such as Lord of the Mysteries and Shadow Slave, and many more. Within it, I have tried to pack a story and world that is rich and large, hoping that the readers find it interesting.

Unfortunately, filled with disappointment, the writing I was doing just felt lacking and fake so I decided to take a long break to help myself recover.

Seriously, Eldrim is not performing nearly as well as I had hoped, but I am not a quiter, and I will not end the novel prematurely. I will write it all the way to the end even if it makes little money, and I will write it with all the passion I had envisioned when I started this novel.

So, for that, I took a break and tried to get back into the mindset required for this book. Countless epic movies, awesome songs, a few insane poems and a dozen hype AMV's later, I am back.

I've spent this time imagining and filling in the story even more, planning and filling the plot as much as I can to make the story as epic as I can. At the same time, I've detached myself from any expectation of income, performance or any such thing. As such, I will no longer focus on just pumping out chapters to fill the daily qouta anymore, and instead focus on writing the best book that I can, for myself ad for anyone who likes and reads this book.

Thank you for accompanying me this far, and tolerating my willfullness. Regular releases will resume in January, but more details will come closer to New Years.
