Kopi glanced at her, and his heart turned cold.
Memories flashed on his eyes, nauseating him.
At the end, before he discerned the girl's eyes were about to land on him, he lowered his gaze to his mangled hand that was now wrapped by a simple towel, or better to be called, a handkerchief.
"Kopi." His heart stirred when that voice again called his name.
Kopi was about to refuse to glance at her, but he realized that would be an undesirable move.
After all, it would show he was weak and scared of her.
He was never scared when confronting a trauma.
He must face it.
"What?" Kopi stared at her with chilling eyes.
Marianne was startled, but then composed herself as she asked with a concerned tone, "Do you need a heal?"
Kopi's eyes widened and soon noticed a little creature suddenly appeared out of her necklace.
He didn't expect for her to awaken since nothing changed on her appearance.
