Leticia pondered how she would start the conversation but one thing's for sure, she's not going to say anything about the contract with Hugh.

Lucio stayed silent with his hand covering his mouth while he intently listened to Leticia's story.

Leticia, while telling the past, saw how Lucio would clenched his hand and jaw and sometimes would click his tongue.

"Haa…"

Lucio sighed. He touched and brushed his ash-brown hair roughly and the scar on his forehead was explicitly shown.

He can't believe that in that short span of time, the things that Leticia and Anton experience can be told as a plot of a novel story.

"Saving the Duke, getting attacked by assassins, getting tangled up with a Duke, and finally becoming his fiance," Lucio glanced at Leticia which made her look away knowing full well how much trouble she's been in.
