Chapter 1:The First Time We Met
The dragon palace is bedecked with jewels, and I have been staying in the palace for so many years. You may think that dragon palace is a wonderful place. But for me, it is just a place to live my tiresome life.
My name is Loly, I am the little daughter of the Dragon King in the Eastern Sea. Father is the highest ranking dragon in the sea, he controls everything in the underwater world.
Yes,I am the little princess of the eastern sea,but I am not happy at all. I am tired of the life in the palace. Slaves always look up for me, so I can't get a real friend here. I am not all by myself, but I can only do everything alone.
Sometimes I would sneak out and have fun with some fish. I like having fun with them. They don't know who I am, so they take me as a friend, not a princess.
I back to the palace in time, so daddy dragon king never knew that I have sneaked out. Or he just wanted to give me some joy in the dry princess life.
The life underwater is just not enough for me, I always wonder what it will be like if I go ashore. I told daddy dragon king what I thought years ago, he got very angry that time. He always told us little dragons don't go ashore, or the dragon race will be in danger.
One day, after playing with my friends out of the palace. I looked up across the deep blue water, I saw something twinkle. That's where I always wanted to explore, but with daddy's prohibition, I can never be there before. That day, driven by my curiosity, I swam out of the water. At that moment, I felt the time stopped for a second. For the first time, I saw the human being's world. I felt the sunray with satisfaction. but the wonderful time was broke soon. I heard something from the seaside, so I swam into the water immediately.
That day, I was back to the dragon palace late. Daddy asked me why did I was so late to get home. I just told him that I was playing with the friends out of the palace. But clearly, daddy didn't buy it. He grounded me in the palace.
I felt not upset at all, I was thinking about what I saw out of the water. I was so satisfied with that.
Then one day, I can't stop my thinking about the human being's world, I sneak out the palace again. I was thinking about the beautiful sights out of the water when I swam in the deep sea to the seaside. Something happened to me and that scared me.
When I got out of the water, some people threw harpoon at me. I was hurt by a harpoon. I heard some people said:"Today, we get something big!"
Then a boy came to my side, when he looked at my dragon body, he showed his surprised on his face. My eyes were filled with tears, because that harpoon really hurt me badly. I begged him to let me go while other people asked him to took "The Big Thing" back. The boy didn't know what he should do. But lucky me! The boy was so kind, he let me go and told those people, there was just a big fish.
I swam back to the palace and never turned back my head.
