Chapter 267: The Little Secret

"What was it? Care to tell me too?"

Suri shook her head with a small laugh. "I won't share it with you," Suri said and gave Maxieno a wink.

Maxieno's suspicion was getting bigger. It was so weird seeing Suri acting adorable like this. She never winked at him before! And now with her little secret that she didn't want to share, she winked at him!

Maxieno hoped he could see what's in Suri's mind right now. The girl really didn't give him a chance to peek into what the girl was thinking.

Suri was still laughing. Maxieno closed the book he was reading and moved closer to Suri. He had to find out the cause of the girl's change in mood.

"Do you like surprises. Maxieno?"

The man brought his face closer until their noses touched. Maxieno needed to feel Suri's pulse to know whether the girl was really keeping a secret from him or not.
