Recalling their recent argument brought forth a soft, amused laugh from Suri. She didn't know why she found it so amusing. Perhaps it was Maxieno's sudden proposal or the way she maintained a tough facade despite the inner tremors of anxiety.

Added to his proposal just now, were all dragons like that? To propose to a woman in a completely inappropriate place, in the bathroom at that! The man was surely playing with her, Suri thought.

Yet, thinking about it again, her heart fluttered shamelessly. The memory of Maxieno's touch stirred emotions within her, causing her cheeks to flush red. Suri knew that if anyone were to discover her secret deeds with the dragon, it would likely lead to disappointment or even disgust. 

Those people had always regarded her as an innocent princess.
