Chapter 255: The End Of Summer

"Good morning, Papa, Mama. I've arrived," Suri said calmly. She was also surprised how calm she was right now. 

"How was your trip, Sweetheart? Mama hopes you enjoy your short vacation. Sorry that we asked you to come back so suddenly," Arielle said as she approached Suri.

The woman's soft hand held Suri's hand, and then took her to sit together on the sofa.

Arielle turned to William who was ready to give a report. Nevertheless, there was a more important matter, so Ronan told the man to come back later. Right now, he wanted to talk to his daughter first.

"Suri," his voice called out.

"Yes, Papa?" Suri replied in a calm voice.

Ronan took a deep breath, attempting to compose himself. Maxieno's confrontation had left him on edge. It could be seen from the deep creases on his forehead, but he needed to maintain composure in front of his daughter.
