Chapter 275: Before The Engagement

Suri walked with Maxieno through the palace grounds. They were going to the pavilion to meet Sartaq and had breakfast there. Due to a chaotic breakfast invitation, the two of them had not had time to fill their stomachs and Suri suggested a good idea. They had breakfast together in the pavilion.

Maxieno noticed how Suri's hand was wrapped around his arm. He couldn't have imagined that such a day would come for him.

The atmosphere around him felt brighter. Even though the afternoon sky was not as bright as usual because there were many clouds blocking the sun's light, for Maxieno, that day was the brightest day he had ever seen.

"So, is this what made you smile alone last night?" Maxieno asked in a half-whisper so that the bodyguards following Suri and him behind wouldn't hear their conversation.

"Hm… not really."

"Oh, so you're unhappy with our engagement?"
