Meanwhile, on the top of the hills a castle was standing high and mighty.
The gothic castle had solid walls made of grey stone. It was decorated with assymetrical flying buttresses, pointed arches and had protuberant spires which gave the castle creepy vibes.
Stylish windows were scattered generously across the walls in an asymmetric pattern.
Some parts of the castle were clearly newer than others, the inhabitants were determined to keep their castle as modern as possible.
The words ornate, bleak and sinister would come to your mind when you look at it.
Inside the dining hall were five vampires. At the end of the table, the leader sat with his cup of blood.
"Namjoon, where are the other two? Didn't you call them?" asked a vampire named Jhope.
"They must be coming Hoba" Namjoon replied.
Jimin ran his fingers through his hair. "You know what hyung?! I have been not telling you. But those two damn fuckers have been causing chaos. They stop fighting in front of you but in your absence, they fight like no other"
Jhope laughed a knowing laugh.
Jimin continued, "They fought over a damn towel yesterday. Jungkook used Taehyung's towel accidently which resulted in Taehyung punching him. Like what the hell??? They just need to see each other's face and they would make up any topic to fight."
Jimin completed his ramblings and looked at Namjoon expectantly.
Namjoon just hummed. Jimin huffed and sat back on his seat. He at least expected a stronger reply or a solution for the problem.
Then the door opened. In came, the one and only Jeon Jungkook. He walked in with his hands in his pockets and had a cocky smile on his face.
Behind him came Kim Taehyung. He was muttering under his breath and was walking with a fast pace, completely contradicting Jungkook.
Taehyung slided into the seat besides Jimin whereas Jungkook sat on the other side of Jimin.
Jimin rolled his eyes at them. His sassiness shining through his face.
"Hey Jungkook" exclaimed Jhope.
"Hey!" Jungkook smiled at him.
He reached for the bottle of blood which was kept in front of Jimin. Just as soon as he had the bottle in his grasp, another hand shot out towards it, grasping the bottle tightly.
Jungkook looked at the offender to only see Kim fucking Taehyung looking at him coldly.
"Taehyung??! I reached for it first so remove your fucking hands before I punch you"
Taehyung just looked at him, gaze piercing through him.
"So what? I want it so I will take it first. Who cares about who fucking got it first?"
Jungkook was fuming. He put all his strength and started pulling the bottle towards himself, Taehyung doing the same.
Jimin looked at the both of them and sighed. He just had to be in the middle of their fight.
Jungkook and Taehyung were playing tug-of-war with the bottle. Their eyes were burning with determination. Eventually the bottle couldn't handle the strength of the vampires and it broke into tiny shards.
They heard a gasp. They both simultaneously looked at Jimin.
Jimin looked like an absolute mess. Blood had spilt all over his expensive suit.
Jimin's eyes widened. He immediately stood and looked at the duo.
"Do you even fucking know how expensive my suit was?!? This was my favourite suit. And not only that but you wasted a whole bottle of blood..."
Then he turned towards Namjoon.
"Hyung! If you don't do anything about them, I will kill them for sure."
Namjoon nodded at him. Then he looked at Taehyung and Jungkook.
"Both of you should know your limits. I don't know why you fight but control your urge. I shouldn't hear anymore complaints. No blood for you today!! This is your punishment. You do whatever you want but don't cross the limits"
Namjoon spoke sternly to them.
Jungkook and Taehyung were seething. No blood??
Ridiculous!!
They stared at each other and then both stood up and left the room.
Namjoon sighed.
"It's ok. They will come around" comforted Jin.
Namjoon looked at the door.
"I hope so"
Jungkook was passing through the streets in search of a prey. He was thirsty!! He needed blood.
It was night time, so there were only a few people on the streets. He looked around. As the minutes passed, he was getting thirstier.
He spotted a man walking down the street. He went to get the man. But before he could attack him, someone else came and bit the man. Jungkook went shock still. As the time passed, his shock slowly converted into anger.
How dare someone else touch his prey?!?
After the man fell on the ground, the other vampire slowly turned towards Jungkook.
Jungkook's expression contorted into one of pure fury.
Taehyung!?!??
Taehyung smirked at Jungkook as he wiped the blood off his lips. Then he cockily walked away from the alley. Jungkook didn't want to fight with Taehyung at that moment. He only wanted blood. He was completely blood-thirsty and over that, Kim fucking Taehyung stole his prey.
He was beyond angry. He moved around searching for another.
Then he spotted an old woman. He smoke stepped towards the woman and brought her to an alleyway. He didn't let the woman scream and dug his fangs into her. He drank and drank and let the woman drop dead on the ground.
Jungkook turned and puked all over the side of the alleyway. He hadn't tasted such disgusting blood ever in his life!! He spitted again and again.
His taste buds were completely assaulted. And the blood that he had drank had gone out of his system while he was puking.
He was completely tired. He was thirsty, angry and was disgusted. He was experiencing all kinds of emotions.
He walked in defeat. He moved towards the nearby forest to calm himself down. He didn't want to go to the castle. Because first off, he was angry at Namjoon for depriving him of blood. Second off, he didn't want to see Taehyung's face.
He strolled in the woods. As he was walking around, he saw a small wooden cabin. He thought of resting in the cabin for a while.
Just as soon as he neared the cabin, he heard a small sound with his super hearing capabilities. He slowly moved towards the door and put his ear on it.
A sniffle.
There was someone in there.
Jungkook carefully opened the door.
There was someone in the corner of the room. He was curled in a small ball.
A human.
Jungkook got excited. Finally, he would be able to drink.
Hearing the creak, the person looked up. Jungkook went completely still for an instant. The human was not able to look at him in the dark but he could. One of the vampire abilities was night-vision.
He was completely mesmerised at the beauty of the male. Red long hair cascading down his face, the rosy hue his cheeks had, the soft red cherry lips of his. The feline eyes looking at him. Tear streaks were staining his cheeks.
As the human stood up, Jungkook's eyes raked up his body. Tall, slim and lithe figure of the man made him drool. The slim waist left nothing to the imagination.
His thirst went to a higher degree. He only wanted to dig his fangs into his neck. He wanted to have his way with him. His fangs appeared as those thoughts swam across his head.
Then the male lit the lighter. Jungkook looked at him. The fire illuminating the face of the human, increasing his beauty ten times more. Jungkook stared at his lips. Those soft fluffy petals moving as he spoke.
Oh...
He was a goner.
