If it was just the normal light that he was enveloped with when he levelled up, then he would just be excited for them, but considering that it had a burning sensation to it, even to the point where he had to back up a little if he didn't want to get hurt. He didn't know what was going on, and it scared him. The thought of losing them now, was something that scared him more than any torture could.
Maybe something good was happening, but Ark didn't count on it, and he was worried about them nonetheless. Before he could get too worried, he felt a large amount of mana leaving his body. Not only was it leaving his body, but it felt like it was being sucked out of him. There was nothing Ark could do to stop it, and he could only watch as a large stream of mana flowed into the bodies of Atar and Ephine.
Wow, that was one hell of a hectic school start, it's only been a couple of days and I've already had 3 tests, as well as a speech. But it should've calmed down a little now, I only have one more test this week. Oh, and I built my first computer!
