"No, I can't be seen. As soon as The Elder knows I'm running amock, he'll know to kill me!" I pretty much yelled that.
"Then who?" Juno crossed her arms and glared... I had the feeling she was bearing an emotional grudge given I had turned her down and we didn't finish our little talk in the way she had hoped.
"I could" That took us both by surprise. Estelle, the wounded and broken woman she was, was volunteering to again put herself in harm's way.
"Estelle, in your state..."
"I'm not getting any better, Juno. I see an opportunity to still do some good. Plus the people know my face, they would want me there..." she trailed off a bit at the end. "Plus, it means I'm doing something to get me out of here." I nodded along while Juno simply sighed and thought for a moment before coming to a conclusion.
