Chapter 19: Chapter nineteen
" are you serious? " Celina yelled happily.
" yes, my lady " Lizzy replied.
" I should talk to him " Celina said then stood up.
" my lady, it's late. Just wait till morning " Jake suggested.
" but... " Celina got interrupted.
" no my lady, Jake's right " Lizzy said, then stood up. " Now get some sleep. As they Lizzy and Jake left the room, Celina lay on her bed and staring at the ceiling, with smile on her face.
The next day, Celina hurriedly did all her morning stuff like bath, dress, and eat before she went to Devon's room. When she got there, he wasn't inside, neither did they find Rufus.
" where did they go this early? " Amanda asked worried.
" maybe they went for the demon lords meeting? " Jake thought.
" they don't have any meeting today " Celina said as she walked through the hallway with Jake.
" now you know when they are having their meeting? " Jake asked surprised.
" yeah " Celina replied.
" let's just wait here, you'll talk to him when he comes " Jake said as the both sat in the living room.
An hour later, a young beautiful woman entered the living room. She has long black hair, that reaches her waist. her eyes are red and well shaped. She has long eye lashes and a well shaved eye brow. And she also has a well shaped body.
Celina just stared at her, and since she was born, she has never agreed that someone was as beautiful and stunning as her until now. And for the first time she saw someone more beautiful than her. Celina walked to her, and was walking round her, still staring at her.
" and who are you? " Celina asked and staring at her in a suspicious way. As Celina turned to Jake, she saw him bowing down.
" okay let me guess, you're Devon's mom? " she asked, as she was not still sure.
" daughter in-law" she called with a smile on her face.
" wow mother, you are beautiful " Celina smiled. Devon's mom smiled...
" you're also pretty, but not as pretty as I am " she smiled.
" so this is how it feels when someone tells you that you're not very pretty. it's painful " Celina thought to herself.
" I'm not sure Devon has mentioned anything about me to you, as he? " she asked.
" no " Celina replied.
" my name is Aynat. It means evil eyes " she introduced herself. In the mythology of Ethiopia, Aynat is the personification of the evil eye. This demon would walk among people sowing death and bad feelings.
" are your eyes evil? " Celina asked confused.
" yes they are" Aynat replied.
" Devon has your eyes "
" yes he does, and what you're thinking right now is true " Aynat smiled.
" oh "
" my son does not lovee at all. I always feel empty in my heart because my son was the one that filled it. I just want my son to join me, I hope you understand me as a mother " Aynat said with a sad voice.
" I'm not a mother " Celina said nodding her head left and right.
" well, you have a mother and you should know that she's always worried " Aynat said.
" yeah. I will help you get back together with your son" Celina felt pity.
" thank you " Aynat said as she wanted to hug Celina. Jake raised his head up, and his mouth was open wide. As he was about to stand up the wind blew, and it made him turn his face. After the wind blew, Jake turned but did not see Celina, he turned to the other direction in fear, and was surprised to see Celina on Devon's arms.
" Devon you're back" Celina yelled happily.
" get out, Aynat " Devon said with an angry voice and looks.
" Devon that's your mom" Celina said as he point at her.
" get out " he said with a cool voice.
" my son, I.... "
" get out " he yelled. Celina got frightened.
" alright, I'm leaving " Aynat said then turned back. " all I can say now is, I hope you're able to protect your wife very well, my son " Aynat said then disappeared. Celina was still in Devon's arms, she was wondering why Devon would yell at his mom like that, and was his mom threatening him? she wondered.
" who let her in? " Devon yelled still angry. His outside guards ran in.
" who let Aynat in? " he cooled his voice. The guards bowed with one knee on the ground, and one hand on their chest.
" my lord, all the guards that were outside, are dead " one of the guard said.
" what? " Devon said surprised. Devon inhaled and exhaled.
" Jake you know Aynat wants to kill Celina but you still let her talk with Celina? " Devon yelled.
" what? " Celina yellws shocked. She wants come down from Devon's arms, but he kept on holding her tight.
