A cold breeze whispered through the invisible openings, carrying with it a faint, eerie melody that sent shivers down their spines. The spooky mannequins with glowing red eyes and broken teeth added to the haunting chilliness.

The group hesitated to part, their faces illuminated by the dim glow of the haunted house's marquee. Nervous and hushed whispers passed among them.

"Do we really need to separate?" The girl clinging to Shilin anxiously asked. 

"Seems so, Anhe. We cannot go as a single group together."

"Then I will go with you!" She grinned. "We will be in the same group."

"Wait, no."

She glared at her guy friend at the back. "What's the problem, Aang?"

"You, Yibo, Jinping and I will be in one group."

Her expression twisted. "And why is that?"
