Mingshen rushed to her side and bent over her. He stretched her lower eyelid down and asked, "Are you consuming something that you shouldn't? What are you hiding from me? Cough out the truth."
She shook his hand away. "Go away!"
"There is something seriously wrong with you if you are expressing your gratitude. To me at that," he said with a suspicious gaze.
Jia scoffed. "I am a decent human and I do decent things, one of which includes properly showing your gratitude to the person who helped you out."
