Chapter 264: We prepared dinner

The words 'Blood Transfusion' on it were rather glaring. 

Her attention stayed there for a very brief moment before she walked away with a nonchalant face, however a myriad of fleeting thoughts ran in her head. She had a very bizarre feeling in her heart but before she could put her finger on it, it disappeared. 

As the door opened and closed, Caleb straightened up in his chair, letting out a soft sigh. 

He glanced at the closed door and a hint of amusement flickered on his face as he shook his head, ''Kids these days… are quite the lovers."

He leaned back and closed his eyes, the upturned arch of his lips dying down as a fleeting sadness flickered by his face.

On the way back to Chen Mansion, Daisy sat in the backseat of the car, her brows furrowed as she looked out of the car, at the passing landscapes, lost in her thoughts.
