''Mm?" Ryle continued stroking her hair gently as he looked at her face, up so close. The more he looked, the prettier she seemed to him. 

Like some mystical painting that seemed to reveal its charms under the persistent gaze of its observer. 

''You once asked me the source of the $50 billion.''

Ryle's fingers which were stroking her hair, paused. A hint of jealousy that he himself was unaware of seemed to be swirling in his eyes. 

After a moment of silence, he continued stroking her hair as he said, ''You don't have to say it,'' he said, his voice however was tinged with a hint of unhappiness.

''I sold my shares,'' Daisy calmly said as if he didn't just ask her to not say it. 

Obedience was the last thing that could be associated with what she, Daisy Chen, was.
