Chapter 209: Not her

Fil had always been known as an early bird in the office, but ever since she came back, she wanted to come earlier than used to. She would only be in the office for a week. Therefore, she wanted to give more than a hundred percent by showing up early and getting more work done. 

In other words, she was already early today, but Elise was earlier. 

"Good morning," Fil greeted as she sat down, earning a short smile from Elise. "I thought you were early the other day because you were excited to see me, but you're early today too."

"Just… I have a lot of work to do." Elise smacked her lips. "I'm swamped. I've offered to help Olivia with her other clients on top of the Solana."

"Oh. I didn't know that. Do you need help?"

"It's alright. I can… do it. Thanks."
