Chapter 22: HOME
Red was going on another mission so we parted ways. After 2 days journey we finally reached home.
Upon arriving i saw my home was completely reconstructed.
"Lord Victor may have done it yes".
Before opening the door I was scared that I'll see a hollow place. With my parents gone this place will haunt me forever i thought.

I opened the door and saw Emilia there waiting for me to come home , she said -" welcome home"
It wasn't only her Damon and their parents were also there. I was happy that this place felt lively.

After eating with everyone me and noir went to my room to rest. That night I had a dream a goddess was sitting besides me and When I opened my eyes in the morning I saw Emilia treating my burn wounds. With a sweet voice she said - " good morning". She made breakfast for me.

When she heard that iam back Shelly came running to meet me. She hugged me very tightly and said - " you're not going anywhere again , I will not let you go ". I said (smiling) " iam not planning to go anywhere. So don't you worry "
I looked at Emilia and for some reason her facial expressions changed like she was giving me death stares. I'll be imagining things. When Lord Victor and his wife were leaving for capital he asked me what am I planning to do now I said " I don't have something specifically on mind " he told me to contact him whenever I need help and for the magic academy he will help me with the admission process.

Emilia and Damon were staying a while longer. Everyday for some reason Emilia was starting to take extra care of me she would prepare meals for me , does laundry and every other house chore.
I think she was doing it because I gave her the medicine to cure her disease probably she felt like she owes me or something. When I asked her to not to feel that way I don't know why but she got angry. it wasn't easy to make up with her again.
I was very thankful to these people around me for taking care of me and not leaving me alone. But everyday when i look at sunset i felt lonely.
Other than that noir seems to be pretty bonded with everyone he would play with Shelly whole day and sleep with Damon at night. I thought he had replaced me with Damon.
These were some of the best days of my life. But good or bad everyday has to come to an end.
