The little wolf cub turned back into a man and without wasting any further time, he started looking through all the books and records kept inside this record room. 

It took him almost a whole hour to get through just a single section of records and even after going through all that trouble, he was still unable to find what he was looking for. 

He had two hours left and he started getting a little impatient. 

When the three guards were done disabling all the traps and tearing up all the talismans monitoring this place, they went back to their respective stations and stood there like lifeless puppets, still under Jie Fu Lian's art of manipulation. 

If Jie Fu Lian was to use them, perhaps his job would become a little easier, but he was afraid that when they woke up from his control, they would remember what had happened and when that happens, it would become a bit troublesome.
