Chapter 189: It's really over

At that moment, Jie Fu Lian's words echoed inside Hua Tianshu's mind: TianTian, watch me closely. If you think I'm losing control, wake me up with a hug, okay?

Hua Tianshu pursed his lips into a thin line and gulped as he made up his mind. 

Jie Fu Lian was suddenly hugged from behind and his body trembled even more. He tried to shake off the person that had hugged him but Hua Tianshu did not let go. Instead, he softly muttered into Jie Fu Lian's ear, "Jie Ming, you have to wake up. You said it yourself, didn't you? You promised not to put me in danger." 

Jie Fu Lian's body froze up and it seemed like his demonic Qi had also calmed down. 

Knowing that Jie Fu Lian could hear him and that his words were working, Hua Tianshu sighed in relief as he continued with a smile, "Jie Ming, wake up. This is not the end. We have to keep fighting." 

"Wake up....?" Jie Fu Lian softly muttered, unconsciously repeating Hua Tianshu's words.
