Chapter 169: A proper confession

It seemed as if Jie Fu Lian finally understood where he was and what had happened so he looked at Hua Tianshu with a worried expression as he questioned, "What are you doing here?" 

Hua Tianshu smiled as he grabbed Jie Fu Lian's cheeks and with tears welling up in his eyes, he spoke, "I was scared of losing you." 

Jie Fu Lian couldn't help but smile as he heard this and playfully asked, "Are friends supposed to be this worried about each other? I think you are overdoing it." 

"I wasn't worried as a friend." 

"Eh?"

"Jie Ming, I know I've already said this once and you've already rejected me. You want us to continue being good friends but I do not think I'll be able to do that. I tried to do it but I can't. Jie Ming, I love you and I don't think I'll be able to get rid of this feeling." 

"Huh...?" Jie Fu Lian looked to be a little stunned as he heard this and his eyes slowly widened in realization, "Eh?!"
