Chapter 67: A moment of ecstasy

During the start of the third week, Jie Fu Lian started to lock himself up in his room even more. At night, there would be odd sounds of scratching, beating, and heart-chilling screams coming from his room. 

Hua Tianshu would quietly stand in front of the door and knock, but Jie Fu Lian didn't dare open the door. 

Jie Fu Lian was in pain and Hua Tianshu understood that. 

One day, the strong stench of blood started wafting out of the room and Hua Tianshu immediately got a bit scared. Instead of knocking, he broke the door open and entered to find a Jie Fu Lian who had stabbed himself with his own hands. 

"Jie Ming!" Hua Tianshu cried out in worry as he rushed to the man. 

Jie Fu Lian's eyes were still a bit red but as soon as he saw Hua Tianshu, his mind started clearing up and his eyes returned to their normal state.
