Synopsis
Synopsis:
Certain things are not meant to be touched, especially ancient weapons of unknown origin.
Meet our protaganist, Juin, a less than average human from Earth; a thin, well-known weakling who was afraid of his own shadow and was basically everyone’s favorite punching bag.
An incident in the past made him even more of a wimp than before.
One day, while being bullied, he accidentally summoned a demon from another world.
And what made it worse was that… He had summoned a Daemon King from another dimension; one who had the emotional maturity of a teenager and the mouth of a sailor.
With Juin's fear of basically everything and the arrogant Daemon King who was afraid of nothing, what would the 16-year-old's life be from now onward?
With the help, guidance, and insult from the Daemon King, as well as other supernatural beings that kept popping out of nowhere, Juin soon learned that he had to either grow faster or die a horrible death.
Along his journey, he met with all sorts of temptations and exciting adventures, as well as finding out that there was more to what he thought he knew about himself.
At the end of the day, could the Daemon King find a way to separate himself from his vessel, or are their destinies more interlinked than they thought?

Note from author:
Except for first chapter, which is a prologue and set in another dimension, the rest of volume one would focus mostly on Earth. The first volume would focus Lucifer and Juin's developments, especially the latter's development both in skills and character.
It might seem a little slow pace at first, but that's because I'm trying to build a piece everything up one by one, giving you a better immersion as you journey through the Demon King's Cowardly vessel.
Honestly, I would love to hear your opinions on the development of the characters and the world. If you like to discuss more with me, please go to the discord link below.

Write a reviewAt first glance it may seem like predictable story about weakling mc getting op by cheat, but its not a typical cliché.!!!! The element of mystery is intact throughout and author is not writing things randomly. The good thing is that demon king also lacks in knowledge and power. So he is not exactly OP(😂 he is but not up to his full potential) And Mc is not exactly a weakling either. He barely copes with his life and has lost all hope. So i hope its a journey with character development for both of them along with unraveling of interesting mysteries. Sorry for the long review.😅 Good luck...👍
I'm not really a fantasy reader but i gave it a try because of our dear author san..💞 I had some difficulty at the start to understand the concept but now i'm actually curious about MC's hidden background/origin. The pace may be a bit slow for me as i want to be invested in MC and his story but not that much is revealed about his personality and hardships for me to put myself in his shoe or like him so far. But author san is so punctual with updates, so pace is not really a problem and i wait for the next chapters.😍😍 I wish you all the best dear author.💖
I don’t really like it. I was initially excited to read but after the whole “order” thing was unfolded I immediately knew it was going to be like one of those uninteresting ‘Tween’ books Americans like so much lately. I don’t like Max. Specifically cause she has a boyfriend. It’s like why make her the main female lead if she already has a boyfriend? What kind of NTR sh!t is that? And even if they got together later it’s like na Ho you were already with this other guy I don’t want the Mc to get sloppy seconds. I feel a underlying disgust for this one sided crush, it just makes him feel like a bit of a ‘simp’ ( for a lack of better words) Just me though. I can already see the angry reply’s now. It’s fine it’s just how I feel. Besides that the grammar is great, don’t like any of the characters or backgrounds secret group stuff . Can’t really say any other positive things. Keep writing though author, though I don’t like your stories it’s not like my opinion matters a lot, considering most of your reviews are positive. You obviously have an audience so I hope you succeed in your endeavors.
This is a good attempt at this genre. Your writing style is different and pleasant to read. You've worked hard on world background and description. I was able to imagine the scenes. The starting chapter contained too much information and so many characters in one go...its hard to remember all the characters around king...but i guess we'll get to know them later on. Juin's character is a bit mysterious for me because there will definitely be a reason form him to be chosen one. I look forward to more chapters.. Keep up the good work..Good luck💞💞💞 Stay healthy and happy...😊
I gave a bad mark because .... because I didn’t like this story, I could write a long list of minuses but these will be minuses only for me, I’m sure that for many people who read this work what I will describe as a disadvantage will be something good, anyway that's all.
I automatically added this to my library because of the 'black clover' cover picture (am i the only one?). Hopefully the author will do good in this novel so that it will give justice to the cover picture.
This story starts looking simple, but quickly evolves toward somthing a lot more complex and complete, both in characters and development. Excellent work of a rare quality, wether you like serious drama or light-hearted comedy (possible action/fight i comming) I recommend it.
It is noticed that the author has some experience with reading and does not describe the scenario with random words. In general, it seems well done for what I read. Good luck!
Honestly theres not much to say here, ive read up to chapter 51, and the most i can give is "pretty good". If you want my unbiased opinion, its a fairly solid story, my biased one however is that i couldnt really get into it and its not really my cup o' tea(I might read further in the future tho) As for nitpicks on what i think is "bad" about it, or its flaws. I would say that there isnt much foreshadowing, author just kinda drops stuff, but it could be that im to stupid to see the foreshadowing, or that im still towards the beginning of the book and theres nowhere to really put it? Ummmmnm, the english and grammer can get funky sometimes, and as of chapter 50 there isnt really any "antagonist" per say, more as other underlying mysteries that i suppose could make the story unique... Or it could fall into shambles later. Thats about it, solid story, ignore the cover, and go ahead and give it a try if you liked the synopsis.
Hey, I recognize that cover! Nice choice, man, but you probably need to ask shonen for permission. Plaaaaaaaace Fiiiiiiiilllllleeeeeeeeeer
This Novel keeps getting better and better!!.. How I wish Author-san to update this gem of a novel 100 chapters in 1 day. Let me take the MCs place and be the vessel of L*cif*r instead. Lol. I scored this 4.8/5 because im still in the early chapters. Will update the score when I reached the latest chapter. Thank you Author for making me smirk in amusement. Keep up the hardwork. My Powerstones for this week goes to you. <3
You are doing great author san.💪💪 I really love your mystery handling.. Its one of your strong suits!!😏😏 I'd really like to read thriller/murder mystery novel by you...if you ever plan to write one..😝🙈🙈 There is fine balance between 'intriguing' and entangled mess..and you manage it beautifully!💕 Please don't be discouraged by 1* reviews as they don't represent your work!!😡😡 P.S your stalker fan..😳😳😳😂😂
I was a little hesitant to read this initially, because I thought it would just be another cliche, typical story of a weakling stumbling upon a demon. It wasn't.
As someone who does not write reviews I will just say I very much like this keep up the good work I am sure the onle reason ppl are not reading this is bc have how many chapters there are so again keep up the good work
Idk how to convince you guys... But this story is really a worthy one! It's written like an exclusive one.. Really!! Some people might found the story development kinda slow BUT considerable actually.. Unless you're not that have much patience
After reading author's previous two books, its a guarantee that this book will be good and the writing will be excellent. First chapters are already promising. Will be looking forward to more updates. Well done author!!
Loving the characters in the book with depth of interesting development as you read further chapters. Not a novel to miss out! Wow hope the author creates more stories that imparts her unique style and flavour !
I just see the synopsis and it's so gooood. I don't read male lead novel but this one looks interesting. The synopsis alone makes me want to read it. Ganbatte author, this is a gem!

Author's own review and notes. The Demon King's Cowardly Vessel is about a weak human boy who accidentally summoned the soul of a demon king from another dimension. For the first volume, the story would focus on the journey of the 16-year-old main character, Juin, as he tried to make sense of everything. In addition, the first volume would focus on Juin's development and eventually, a revelation of his backstory, as well as his true connection to the demon king, Lucifer. When what perceived to be all there is to their world is suddenly changed, what would happen? Friends becoming enemies, and enemies becoming friends. The weak becoming strong, and the strong becoming stronger... or killed. As per my usual writing style, hint(s) would be dropped on the chapters, some foreshadowing the future chapters and some would be clues on the characters' backgrounds or intentions. I hope that you guys would enjoy this novel, and I would love to see you guys around in the later chapters. Regards, LuoYe (The Falling Leaves)
