"Shadow Wolves are typically solitary creatures," Chronos began, his gaze scanning the scattered bodies of the defeated Shadow Wolves. His mind was racing, frantically trying to piece together the puzzle that lay before him. Throughout his long life, he'd never encountered such a sizable group of Shadow Wolves operating in unison. The sight unnerved him. He would never admit it aloud, but without William's assistance, he doubted he would have managed to take down this formidable assembly of shadow creatures.
