"Scarlett.....!!!" Scarlett froze when she heard William calling her. For a few seconds, she didn't turn around. 

'Should I just pretend that I didn't hear his voice and continue walking ?' She felt that she should do this. 

'But I already have stopped walking. If I began walking now, it would become clear that I heard his voice but deliberately ignored him. William might mistaken this as me being angry at him for rejecting my parent's proposal.'

'It looks like I have no choice.' Scarlett turned around to face William and his family.
