Chapter 114: Chapter 114:- Rising Tension

While everything was going normally in Emberfall City, in the capital of the Night Empire things were getting heated up. The political tension between the military and the nobles was on the rise. The Military of the Night Empire wanted the nobles to let them enter their territories and let them conduct their investigation and other activities without any restrictions and without needing any sort of permission from the Emperor. 

All the nobles knew that the military of the Night Empire was really corrupt and would do anything to increase their influence and their strength. If the military was given the authority to freely conduct investigations and conduct missions in the territories of the nobles then the military would have the power to suppress the Nobles whenever they want. As everyone knows the Emperor greatly trusts the Military. And the corrupt Military can get away with doing anything they want as long as they have a reason behind it.
