Chapter 19: Angry with her
I was getting so vexed. Even Storm couldn't take it anymore but I'm doing everything to surprised her down.
"I might be there prisoner but I'm definitely not a thing" Storm growled in me.
I looked at Bella and saw that she had in a stiff smile and that smile added to my anger. How could she smile in this kind of situation. I glared at the lady making sure she knew I wasn't happy at her words.
"You have to move out" she said wanting to touch me.
" Don't you dare lay your filthy hands on me!" I couldn't help but to retort in anger.
As a smart one, I've noticed that it wasn't because I was seated there that made her talked the way she did. It was because it was Bella that brought me. There's sure some grudge between them.
"Don't be stubborn young lady!" She snapped.
I eyed her. I was so angry at her rudeness and once I'm angry, if I'm not fighting, I do some dangerous talking not minging what my words will cause or cost me.
"Even if you are the ruler of the whole world, you would at least calm down to know what is what. Can't you be a bit polite? Looking at your dress, you are nothing but a higher maid. Yes I'm your captive her and for the past few month I've been here other maids like you have treated me nice. I'm damn sure that your alpha trained you better. Even as demonic as your alpha is said to be, he isn't acting like a bitter ugly pig like you. Witch" I shouted at her.
If fire could come out of her nose and head, it would have been burning me right where I'm seated. I intentionally didn't stand up because I want to vent my anger on her if she tries to drag me up. Her face became more uglier with anger and I was so ready for her reaction.
"What an effo....." She couldn't finish her words.
She looked at a direction and bowed quickly. I decided to see what made her stop talking and dissolved her anger. It was then I noticed that those at the table were already up and we're also looking at the same direction the ugly witch is looking. Then I saw their alpha standing there glaring at us. Seeing him standing there, I immediately forgot what was happening and couldn't help but to stare at him. I was so captivated by him that I couldn't help but to open my mouth. I stood up unconsciously.
"Wow!" I couldn't help but to breathe out.
His long hair was still wet and it made it stand in stands. His face was flushed because of the bath he took. This made him more attractive and captivating.
"What the heck is going on here?" His b masculine voice rang in the room.
No one said anything. He then shifted his gaze at me. Then I felt like I was naked. If I could disappear that moment I would trade anything just to do it. I wish I had controlled my anger than to add more to my troubles. Fillia as warned me severally to stay off the alpha's anger. She said it's more volcanic than the volcano itself.
"Don't I deserve a reply?" He asked moving closer.
" I was only correcting a wrong and they attacked me" the lady in white said like she was innocent.
"Liar" I said in my heart.
I didn't even know why she's saying they. I was the only one who attacked her with the rudeness she showed. Who else did? With how she spoke to the alpha it made it seem like they have something more intimate than the maid stuff. There must something that would be backing her pride and attitude up.
I looked at Bella to see what her reactuon to this lue is but i couldn't see her face since she's facing her husband. I sure know she wouldn't have the calm demeanor since the alpha is here and can deal with her any moment.
"I need a clear explanation before you regret having a mouth to speak" he growled.
Even I that was smittened by his got shakened by that growl. His voice sound deadly. She began to explain with a shaky voice. I didn't know she could be that scared. Although everything she was saying seems to paint her innocent. I was looking at Bella's face. She seems scared. I promised myself that I wouldn't let the poor girl be punished because of me. I don't mind if I get punished in her stead.
The alpha faced Bella and I saw her hold her husband's hand tightly. If that hand didn't crush, it will not be the same for few minutes.
"Didn't you tell her that she's here on my order?" He asked with a frown.
" I tried to but she wouldn't let me speak" Bella replied with a shaking voice.
Her voice showed fear. She's innocent of the accusations but yet she's still afraid. I was looking at Bella but then I noticed that the alpha was looking at me. I looked at him and then quickly looked away. His beautiful eyes wasn't looking at me pleasantly. I know he's a very angry with me and I'm in deep trouble.
"Zin, what did I tell you about Bella?"
Now his voice sounded so angry. The atmosphere was so hot that I'm sure that if this continues, we would get burnt alive with the hotness at any moment.
"That, she's the mate of my boss which automatically make her my boss" she replied in a low voice.
" And how dare you disobey my words!" He growled.
I love the way he is scolding her. This will make her know her place. I almost smiled at how she was shaking now even though I know mine will be worse.
"I didn't alpha. I was only reminding her...." She rushed out but the alpha's powerful voice stopped her.
"She answers to none aside her husband and I" he blurted out.
" Yes alpha" she trembled.
"You didn't even reverence the leaders on seat. What gave you such audacity girl?" He asked glaring at her.
Looking at the person he was calling girl, she looks like his mother. If I had not know that he is way older, I would have said he's using power over her.
"I'm sorry alpha" she apologized.
"Now apologize to Bella" he ordered.
Zin bit her lower lip and bowed to Bella.
"I sincerely apologize for my uncultured attitude ma'am" she said shaking.
I sure know that her voice was a mixture of pain, shame and anger. The beautiful thing is that, there's nothing she can do. A leader is a leader.
"It's all gone" Bella said.
The look Bella had on wasn't showing that she was glad. Better still, it looked like she doesn't like how zin us being scolded. If it was me, u would had on a triumphant smile.
"I hear of this misconduct again, I'll make sure the sewage is more better than you" he said with a vicious voice.
I don't know what that means but with the way Zin stiffened, I know it will be so bad.
"Yes alpha" she said.
"Out of my sight" he said stiffly.
The lady almost fly. When she's gone, the alpha's eyes shifted to me. Now I know it's my turn for scolding. I was waiting for what he has to give me. I'm not afraid.
