Chapter 64: Regrowth Of Powers

Astrids POV

I stood there still in shock. Samael was alive all this time. I never thought it would ever come to this where I would have to probably have to battle it out with my brother.

"You're looking well I see," Samael says with a smirk. I clenched my fist tightly by my side. I wanted nothing more than to punch the living daylights out of him.

"Samael gives it up already. Are you bitter because mom wrote on her will that I would get all the fortune". A smirk appeared on my face as I saw the anger in his eyes.

I knew I had pushed a nerve.

His dark hair had grown out and his pale body looked frail. His golden eyes seemed filled with darkness. This wasn't the Samael I had grown up with. I had always thought he would be there to protect me from the dangers of the world.

Memories of our childhood suddenly flooded my mind. We were so close almost connected in away. And we had our moments our fights but we always stuck it out in the end.
