Chapter 66: A Raging Fire Means War

Astrids POV

Samael had a whole army behind him as if he was ready for war. He stood there with a wide grin on his face, I felt almost lost control. I hungered for blood and my body just kept getting hotter.

"So what's the plan," I asked Cohen as he closed the curtain.

"Well we have no choice but to fight this out. I'm going to have to call for backup and gather some weapons".

"Good I'm coming with you" I demanded. He instantly shook his head placing his hands on my shoulders.

"No, you are still recovering. I can't be worried about your well-being too. You need to res-"

"No this is my fight and I'm going to finish it. I'm not going to let that piece of shit think he can get away my with this. I've had it"!

I clenched my hands tightly. The more I kept thinking about what was going outside the more I lusted for blood. It was time to end this once and for all.
