"Where's Lee Jordan?"

During dinner, Fred and George arrived late at the dining hall.

"He's at the hospital wing. He fell pretty badly during the ice skating practice in the afternoon, so he went to Madam Pomfrey to get some medicine," Albert swallowed the food in his mouth and looked up at the twins with a puzzled expression. "Where were you guys in the afternoon? Why are you only coming to eat now?"

"In the woods," Fred winked at Albert.

"We actually ran away," Lee Jordan's voice drifted from behind, tinged with a hint of resentment.

"We told you when we left. It's your fault for not coming with us," George put his hand on Lee Jordan's shoulder and asked, "How's your skating practice? Can you skate now?"

"If I could skate, would I have fallen so miserably?" Lee Jordan replied irritably.

"True, it's a good thing we gave up early," George nodded seriously. "That kind of sport is not suitable for wizards."

Albert wanted to retort: You won't learn if you don't put in the effort, of course, you'll never be able to skate.

Unable to hold back, Lee Jordan couldn't help but ask, "Was it the same when you were learning to skate?"

"Well, falling is inevitable in the beginning," Albert said seriously.

"He's definitely trying to comfort you," George couldn't help but laugh. "With Albert's learning ability, after falling a few times, he would have figured out how to skate on his own."

"What do you think skating is, eating?" Albert said helplessly.

Actually, George was right in a way. Albert did learn to skate through a manual.

"I think I understand why Albert doesn't want to teach you," Fred suddenly said.

"He doesn't want to teach us," Lee Jordan corrected, not happy. "Don't exclude yourselves."

"Think about it. If you're learning to skate and you fall as miserably as you did, and still haven't learned how to skate, you'll definitely blame him!" George nodded seriously. "That's why Albert doesn't dare to teach you, so that he won't be blamed by you."

Albert's hand, which was about to pick up a golden egg, froze in mid-air. He couldn't help but think to himself, "These two have quite an active imagination."

He could bet with half a golden egg in his hand that he had never entertained such thoughts.

Lee Jordan cast a skeptical glance at Albert, who quickly cleared his throat and changed the subject. "What interesting things did you find in the woods that kept you out until now?"

"There were only some animals in the woods; it wasn't dangerous," Fred sat in the vacant seat next to Albert, eating his dinner and speaking at the same time. "George and I were chasing a rabbit, but unfortunately, we didn't catch it."

"Rabbits in the Forbidden Forest? That's quite intriguing," Albert was curious. "By the way, why were you trying to catch a rabbit? Are you planning to roast it? That's actually not a bad idea; I've never had roasted rabbit before."

Shanna raised her head upon hearing this and gave Albert a glare, reprimanding him, "Roast a rabbit? How could you be so cruel?"

"I was just joking... Don't take it seriously," Albert smirked and countered, "Are you raising rabbits?"

"Yeah, a small one," Shanna nodded and admitted.

"Ahem, I think we're digressing from the topic," Lee Jordan coughed lightly and steered the conversation back on track. "So, what's in the woods?"

"Nothing special, just a regular forest," George pondered for a moment and added, "We also saw some deer tracks."

"I think those were unicorn footprints. We even found this," Fred pulled out a few strands of white hair from his robe pocket and explained, "These are unicorn tail hairs."

"You guys managed to escape Hagrid, the gamekeeper?" Angelina exclaimed in surprise, clutching one of the unicorn tail hairs and examining it closely. "I heard that any student who trespasses into the woods would be caught by him."

"We have ways to avoid Hagrid's sight," George and Fred exchanged glances and said seriously, "As long as he doesn't catch us, there's no problem."

The brief conversation soon came to an end, and Albert planned to go to the library to search for information about Professor Brode.

If this Defense Against the Dark Arts professor was famous, it shouldn't be too difficult to find relevant information.

"How about going together another day?" Fred invited.

"To catch rabbits?" Albert raised an eyebrow. "I suggest you guys go fishing by the Black Lake instead. Dig a hole, get some raw meat; it's definitely more reliable than catching rabbits."

"That's a good idea," Lee Jordan chimed in.

"Aren't you going ice skating anymore?" Fred looked at his black friend suspiciously.

"With the way I ended up after skating, how can I go again?" Lee Jordan twitched his mouth and suddenly asked, "By the way, which one of you knows how to cook fish?"

"I can give it a try, but only if you guys can catch the fish," Albert thought for a moment and added, "If not, we can go to Hagrid; he must know how to cook fish."

"I thought you were good at everything," Fred pretended to be serious. "So, you have something you don't know how to do!"

"Cooking fish shouldn't be too difficult. Just brush some seasonings on top," Albert said earnestly, "And sprinkle some of the garlic we have in the dormitory on it."

"Don't bring up the garlic," George protested.

Once they entered the library, the four of them stopped talking. If they wanted to find time to go fishing, they needed to finish their homework first to free up some spare time.

"This question isn't too difficult, after all, Albert also does homework together with them. Once they finish their homework, they can ask Albert for help with anything they don't understand and get solutions.

"What are you looking for?" Lee Jordan put away his homework, picked up a book that Albert had placed next to him, and glanced at the title, "Great Wizards of the Twentieth Century."

Albert whispered, "I heard that Professor Brode is very famous."

"Professor Brode?" George put down his pen and blew on the ink, asking, "Why are you looking for him?"

"Let me see your parchment," Fred was frustrated, realizing that he was falling behind and still had a big question to complete.

"Do it yourself," George held onto the parchment, not allowing Fred to take it away.

"I found it." Albert placed "Contemporary Famous Wizardry" in front of him and read softly, "Bard Brode, pure-blood wizard, Wizengamot member, Order of Merlin, Third Class recipient, winner of the Barnabus Finkley Exceptional Spellcasting Award, interests: Wizard's Chess, adventure.

"Bard Brode was once the International Wizard Chess Champion, and he won the European Wizard Dueling Championship using wandless and silent full-body bind curse. He once saved several Muggle mountaineers attacked by giants during an adventure, earning him the Order of Merlin, Third Class...

"He maintains friendly relationships with several prominent wizards and is a close friend of contemporary magical masters, Adabe Wolfing and Mog MacDougal."

Albert looked at the records above and fell into a brief silence.

Mog MacDougal?

Coincidence?

Clearly not.

Isabel MacDougal is obviously related to this Mog MacDougal, either a relative or a family member.

Why would he say that Professor Brode thinks highly of me?

Am I overthinking?

Well, as long as Professor Brode doesn't have any ill intentions, he'll just go with the flow. Albert didn't mind getting to know more famous wizards through Professor Brode.

"I didn't expect Professor Brode to be so famous!" Fred took the book from Albert, read the introduction to Bard Brode, and was greatly surprised.

"Dueling champion?" George exclaimed, "No wonder he became the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

Albert, on the other hand, didn't think that Bard Brode being the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor had anything to do with him being a dueling champion.

"By the way," Lee Jordan suddenly changed the topic, looking at Albert seriously, "There's a Quidditch match this weekend, and I heard that some older students are planning to organize a betting pool. Who are you planning to bet on to win?"

"Well, I almost forgot about this. Who do you plan to bet on?" Fred and George asked in unison.
