Chapter 73: Scarlet – The Ritual

I perched on the edge of the bed. Sabastian leaned against the stoned wall. The tension in the room could be cut with scissors. None of us wanted this.

I fixed my robe, closing the front so none of my skin was shown. "Do think we can stay in here without doing anything?"

Sabastian glanced at the top of the structure. "That's not possible. I want to get out of here and it looks like we won't be able to unless something happens between us."

Yeah, right.

I rubbed my palms on the robe. "So, when do we start?"

"As soon as we have to." He eyed me. "What? Don't tell me you are shy? We both know this isn't your first rodeo."
