Chapter 82: Scarlet – A Foggy Night

I squeezed my towel closers to my body. Little Alzar's statement swirled in the room. I glanced at the door behind the boy. "Who is back?"

He cocked his head to the side. "The woman from before. The one on the riverbank."

The first person that came to mind was the vodyanitsa. Then, I remembered she was not the only person there.

I yanked up the nightdress off the bed. The fact that the material was lace never crossed my mind. It was not that I had time to change either way. "How do you know she is back?"

Little Alzar's gaze flickered to the cabin door. "She's outside."

My heart skipped several beats. Yep, I didn't have a chance to worry about a simple lingerie. If the child was right, we were in trouble. Depending on what she did, we all had to stay together to ward off any mischievous act for the men not to be affected.
