Chapter 244: Pregnant Woman's Libido

"Are you comfortable?" 

Elise batted her eyes at this question. She was still dazed at the fact that her husband was now staying in her chamber and was ready to sleep on her bed, next to her. It felt surreal. Usually, he was only here to complain about his headache and then left to sleep in his own chamber.

Now he really would sleep here until morning?

She held her breath and couldn't immediately reply, which made Loriel feel worried. 

"Is something wrong?" the man asked.

Elise finally found her voice and shook her head. "N-no… I'm fine."

"Are you comfortable?" Loriel repeated his question. "Zaff told me pregnant women will experience a lot of discomforts. You must let me know if there is anything you need, to make your pregnancy more comfortable."

Elise bit her lip and tried hard to hold back her forming tears. Her husband seemed to care so much about her baby. This was such a wonderful thing.
