Chapter 3: Chapter 2
Thomas sighed as the groom entered, clearly drunk and unable to walk.
"Excuse me for a moment, Thomas", Mrs. Belle made her way towards the tumbling man.
"Charles!" She hissed.
The man looked at her in disgust and said,"What ?"
"I told you not to drink tonight . It's your wedding."
"So?"
"What will all these people think if they see the groom in this state ? What will your in-laws think?" He now looked amused .
"They will think that Lyanna Belle is a liar."
She now spoke venomous words,"All our relatives are here, you fool. If you dare embarrass yourself, I will give all the property to your sister."
Charle's nose scrunched up in anger before mumbling a "fine". Thomas was rather enjoying the little comical scene his in-laws had caused when his eyes went to the far corner of the room. A stunning lady made her way to Thomas, making heads turn with her presence.
"Darling, I was missing you!" He placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.
She grinned widely, looking beautiful as ever,"I went to my new sister ." She hummed in response.
She grazed her fingers lightly over his cheek and said,"I know about you and her ."
Thomas almost freezed.
