Chapter 229: Findings- Part 2

James looked at the piece of parchment that was torn unevenly, where the maid's address was written down.

He wanted to go right away and meet the maid, but at the same time, he wanted to make sure his father was doing alright as he was sick in the morning. James had to remind himself that there was still time, and there was no need to go looking for the maid who worked in the castle. He didn't even know if the maid would be there in her house, or if she had gone back to work at the castle.

James walked towards the large window of his shop, unlocking it, he pushed it open to get some air. He could wait for tomorrow, he said to himself.

Afterwards, when James was getting his shop closed for the day, locking every door and window before heading out of it with his assistants, the carriage that left from the village of East Carswell had reached the castle of the King of Devon, Calhoun Hawthrone.
