Chapter 82: Grayfia

Pov Dia,

Unfortunately, the solemn atmosphere was broken when I couldn't manage to bring Rimuru into my peerage. But I wasn't discouraged. I asked my wife to decrease her power—not by hiding her aura, but by lowering it to the point that even if she attacked a rock with all her might, it wouldn't get a scratch—to try to make the Queen Piece believe she had the required value, and it worked.

If that hadn't worked, I would have asked Rimuru to absorb the piece and analyze it so she could take on all its characteristics.

Next, it was Sera's turn to receive her Evil Pieces, and like me, she injected her power into the monument. The result was that she got a Mutation Piece, which was her Queen.

Looking at Oni-sama's Evil Pieces, I could see that if you pour energy into the monument, the value of the pieces increases.

Dia: "Now, Falbium and Ajuka, I wish you a successful war."

Ajuka: "I'm not sure if that's the right thing to say, but I wish you the same."

Oni-sama, Rimuru, Sera, and I separated from Falbium and Ajuka to head to the Valefor territory.

Oni-sama turned to me and looked me in the eye.

Sirzechs: "Dia, I have a favor to ask of you."

I turned to him with a smile.

Dia: "I know what you're going to say, and don't worry, I will."

Oni-sama's face turned as crimson as his hair before replying.

Sirzechs: "No, that's not what I meant. I just want you to promise not to take any unnecessary risks and not to die."

Dia: "It's a weak excuse, but don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm used to fighting."

After that, as we headed to our battleground, we established a strategy and then separated from Oni-sama.

When we arrived at the battlefield, there was only one thing we could see: we were being pushed back and beaten.

I spotted the one commanding our troops and went over to him.

Dia: "Hi, Revali, how's it going? A bit tough fighting the enemy, huh?"

The person in charge was my ex-fiancé. We had met a few times, and he seemed less afraid of me than he was on my 15th birthday.

Ruval: "My name is Ruval, Dia-sama. You could at least try to remember it."

Dia: "OK Grilled Chicken."

Ruval: "Revali isn't such a bad name."

We stopped laughing to have a more serious conversation.

Dia: "Do you want me to disorganize the enemy troops?"

Ruval: "Yes, if you don't mind."

In five seconds, I created trap runes and teleportation runes that would be used to destabilize the enemy.

With the enemy troops destabilized, it became easier for us to push them back and separate them.

I activated a sonorous rune and addressed the enemy troops.

Dia: "I will ask you once: surrender, and we will ensure no harm comes to you."

But their pride did not allow them to surrender, and they fought with even more fervor.

Will: "Shall we join the fight?"

Dia: "No, we still have the advantage, and this isn't their main force. Let's wait a little longer."

New troops arrived from the west side. Their leader is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and red eyes

I teleported to this woman and we had a duel of looks as her troops headed towards our army.

Dia:" Pleased to finally meet you, Grayfia Lucifuge."
