After taking in his surrounding it was then his muddled head cleared a bit. His mind was starting to recall what had happened.
From the auction house...
...Explosion...
Stephan's death...
Horde of Demonically Possessed creatures with an intense battle against the humans at the City Wall...
Fighting against a Bat-hulk known as Teckluh...
To nearly dying in the hands of that crazy red-eye lady with two Great sword...
"Lucy, scan the perimeter." Ben ordered.
"Yes, scanning..." thirty seconds later Lucy's voice rang out again. "Only one high level being found."
"Our location?" Ben asked.
"You are currently 5.32 mile from the nearest settlement. 7.84 miles from Nalazi Capital. You are in a discreetly located valley."
"Must have being dragged here or something. I just hope it wasn't the demons that got my body." Ben thought inwardly then remembering he was injured, he gave another command, "Check my bodily condition, Lucy"
"Analyzing... Over 200 named tissues and muscles with over 80 unnamed tissues and muscles were damaged. Your right shoulder was dislocated three times. You have a light concussion. Since you formed the Darkness-type Elemental Halo so abruptly and without sufficient time, it caused your Elemental Halo to be slightly unstable leaving traces of Darkness-type substance found in various places all over your body. One of the most significant places these traces are gathered are in your main bloodstream of the left side of your body. Time required for stabilization is 26 days, you can still cleanse the traces."
"What about the Darkness Element traces?"
"The use of the Light element Healing spell will take you a day to walk, three to run and a week to be fully recovered."
He knew in a long time that using Mindpower to check himself up couldn't compete with the power of science and technology. When he was at The Phantom he realized that Healers didn't have any clue what happens when they cast their magic, they don't know anything on cells, blood vessels or any other biological scientific knowledge. They only knew that all broken bones got fixed back while the flesh is sealed up, but not the how's.
Since Ben was in the forest, the Forest Parade was automatically on. About twenty metres into the thick forage of trees he heard the faintest off notes coming his way stealthily. If he wasn't so adverse with the Forest Parade he doubted if he'd know how this person was able to kill him.
Ben had to admit that the person's walking steps in the woods were very natural, unlike any technique at all. He could tell those were the person's actual walking steps. Yet, he couldn't classify if the person was friend or foe.
The off notes tell if a person is dangerous or not, but he found no melicious intent from the incomer. If not for the limping occurring every six steps he wouldn't have noticed the person coming his way.
"Ah, looks like you've finally woken." Mullin said when he arrived. Ben was confused at who this person was talking to. He knew that his pretence was very good since he only has to pretend he was unconscious. "Oh don't worry. I can hear the difference in your heartbeat. How are you?" Mullin asked.
After a few moments of silence Ben finally answered. He found the voice familiar. "Fine, thanks."
"Can you move?" Mullin's voice brought him back to reality.
"I guess." Ben said then tried casting a healing spell but got distracted midway which scattered his concentration in channeling.
Mullin saw this and immediately offered his help. "Here, let me help." Ben gave a wary look but this didn't deter the Mullin. He began channeling Life Energy into Ben, but when he tried sending the magic Power into Ben he witness a strong resistance. it was from Ben. "I won't be able to help if my magic doesn't do what it is suppose to do."
Ben knew he didn't have the strength to fight someone like Mullin so he told Lucy to be ready to attack Mullin if he was seen as a threat. After confirming he wouldn't hurt him Ben opened himself to his magic.
Just as Mullin was done the temperature in a hundred metre radius significantly dropped to rock bottom. It practically started snowing at moment's notice.
"It's worse than I thought." Mullin mumbled to himself when the temperature dropped, however, Ben still heard it.
Ben was hearing loud off notes that rushed towards their location. Unlike Mullin, this off note was hard to catch because of its speed. All of a sudden the whole place was freezing when the man that fended off the Demon General, Bloodbath, appeared with a young girl in his arms.
Upon seeing Mia, Ben wanted to race over to her but the pain in his body protested. He still wasn't healed enough.
"What's wrong with her? Why can't she control her own Seed?" Ben yelled over the chilling breeze.
"Ander, bring her over." the dark skinned man, Mullin, called for his friend to bring Mia somewhere else.
"Answer me! What's wrong with her?" Ben was really angered when he was being ignored. Casting a Healing spell to further hasten his recovery he then unleashed his powerful flame, heading up the area and melting the snow around.
Ander heaved an I'm-tired-of-this-shit sigh. While Mullin took Mia to the river bank a distance away from Ben and Ander. Ander who heard Ben's shout turned to look at him.
"How are you holding up, lad?" asked Ander.
"I'm fine," he answered out of curtsey with a frown. "Now, tell me. What's wrong with her?" Ben's frown deepened when Ander feigned ignorance.
"*Sigh* Okay chill, literally. Well, after..." Ander went on to to brief Ben on what they did which caused Mia her present state.
"Are you... Ugh! Bring me to her." Ben suppressed his anger at someone he knew was over a hundred years of age. His body still wasn't in top form so he still needed Ander's help. He took out his wooden staff for extra support.
"You just have to wait for him to be done. Even I can't help her without enough pressure with the right circumstances."
"And your aura isn't an ideal situation, if I should guess?" Ben asked which he received a nod for.
"It doesn't and won't work. In fact, she might even die on the spot."
"Then I ask you again. bring her to me." Ben gritted his teeth as they couldn't even do anything. Saying nothing in return, Ander helped and led him to the riverbank that was already frozen with Mia and Mullin.
"Why have you brought him here?" Mullin asked when he felt two presence coming towards them.
"He says he can help." Ander nonchalantly said when they arrived.
"How so?" Mullin asked. His body had frozen parts caused from the close proximity with Mia. But his body was able to fight back the chill.
"Only he knows." Ander shrugged his shoulders.
"How can you help?" Mullin looked at Ben doubtfully.
"Let me get closer. Give us some space too." Ben used his wooden staff to walk closer to the sitting Mia.
"Young man, what do you think you're doing? The chaotic energy in her Elemental Seed can kill you." Mullin warned Ben when he saw they bout coming closer. "Boy, I don't think you little Flame magic is strong enough to protect you from the chill."
"I don't have to use heat to fight chill." saying that an even greater chill descended.
Even Ander had to take a step back from it. Mullin was confused because someone shouldn't be able to posses both contradicting element.
Ben proceeded to sit in a lotus posture before Mia, with a few breath Ben's consciousness floated out of his body to Mia's. When Ben tried entering Mia's mind scape his soul shuddered for a moment.
The chill outside when compared to the one in her Spiritual World that housed her Elemental Seed was like the north pole and a desert. Ben's consciousness was frozen in a split second.
After circulating his Ice Halo to match the temperature in her Spiritual World he broke free. In Mia's Spiritual World she was trying desperately hard to guide the chaotic Ice energy particles out of her body through the passageway.
However, the passageway became too cramped. The Ice particles were even more instable in such a tight space. One could say they became claustrophobic.
"Mia, if you can hear my voice, it's me, Ben. I need you to open your consciousness and let me in." Ben spoke through Mindpower, not knowing if he was heard or not.
"Ben... Young master Ben, is that really you?" Mia was shocked when she heard a very familiar voice, Ben's voice, "Oh no, I guess I must be dying thinking I've finally found the young master. My Lord, I have failed you." but then she thought it was just her mind playing tricks on her mind telling her what her deepest desire is.
"No, no, no. Mia, I'm right in front of you, your mind isn't playing with you. I need you to let me in." Ben says again hearing her doubt.
To Mia it didn't feel right since she kept hearing Ben's voice in her head. She allowed a whiff of her consciousness to drift to the outside world only to be shocked to see Ben right before her.
All her demeanor as an Ice cold woman completely shattered as her closed eyes let a tear trickle down here cheek only to get frozen by the chilly wind as it fell to the ground.
"Mia, I have come to help you, but I need you to let me in you body." Ben could see that she was getting emotional, this was risky and dangerous, especially in a situation stay as this.
It will make her loose the little concentration she had. Of course Mia wouldn't loose herself so easily.
"Alright, let me open up a passage."
Just like when he helped the Lightning-type Spellcaster, Evelyn, during his first mission into the Badlands. His Universal Plane, in someway swallowed Mia's Spiritual World like he'd done before.
Since this wasn't his first time, he knew exactly what to do.
Mia's Spiritual World as any other Elemental Swordsman was just a black space with only one ball at it's centre.
The blue floating orb that was releasing intense chill was Mia's currently unstable Elemental Seed. Red would represent the Fire Elemental Seed with brown being an Earth Elemental Seed and so on.
But, when she stepped into Ben's Universal Plane she was blinded by all the colourful Starfields, what truly amazed her were the six sun-like Halos. Since she couldn't directly look at the Halo she assumed they were Spheres rather than Halos.
Actually they were seven Halos, but with the Darkness Halo being filled with 'Darkness' she didn't know it was there.
There was one though, that she felt extremely connected to among all six elements.
