After that came the physical tests. The most common part of a laptop to break or spoil was its hinges. To solve that, Richard had employed a new design, but it was always good to check it.

He rigorously opened and closed the laptop as forcefully as he could. It wasn't long before the laptop screen came flying away from the rest of its body. This was understandable and was what he was aiming for.

It was a test, and he needed to put the device through unrealistic situations. No one would close a laptop like that, but if it could survive such treatment, the chances of it breaking from standard regular use were low.

In essence, the laptop was great; hardware and software were okay. It didn't produce much heat when working intensely, nor did it produce much noise.

To be fair, there wasn't much the average consumer could do to push this system to its limits. He wouldn't say it was impossible, but it was highly unlikely to happen.
