"So you did it on purpose?" Fu Yuxiu sneered coldly.

"Think whatever you want," Qiao Zhaoyue said indifferently.

Hearing Qiao Zhaoyue's careless response, Fu Yuxiu was so angry he could hardly breathe. He flung the covers aside and was ready to get out of bed, but the moment he stepped down, he fell onto the bed, his knee scraping and bleeding.

Seeing this, Qiao Zhaoyue instinctively came to Fu Yuxiu's side. She knelt down to look at his injured leg, her brows furrowing, "What on earth are you doing?"

Qiao Zhaoyue's tone contained a hint of reproach as she carefully helped Fu Yuxiu up and then bandaged his wound.

Although her love for Fu Yuxiu had waned, she didn't know why the flutter in the bottom of her heart was still there upon seeing him hurt.
