Chapter 106: The Tutor's Fate

Eternity wasn't entirely sure what had transpired after the whirlwind of events that unfolded in the span of a few minutes. 

Thankfully, Olivia's confession happened a few minutes shy before their class ended, sparing them from the prolonged agony of an uncomfortable situation. To make things better (or worse, depending on how you look at it), Evan arrived soon after, and his obliviousness to the increasing tension between Eternity and Olivia only served to worsen the situation.

"I'm home," he said as he joined the two in the living room. "Where will we go this time?"

Of course, he still wasn't aware of Olivia's condition. He was still under the impression that he could join the duo's acculturation expedition to the outside world, so he went home earlier than usual.
