Chapter 176: Undeniable Evidence

All eyes darted to Vanessa after hearing Maya's acrid accusation, and the detective's gaze instinctively shuffled between Alex and Vanessa, who was simply staring at Maya.

"Do you want to deny it?" Maya challenged, when Vanessa silently stared at her, as if pondering on what to say. 

Maya wickedly glared at her and hissed. "I guess you can't." She hissed again and looked away, but not before giving her a wicked eye.

Vanessa calmly stared at Maya with incredulity. 

She guessed she shouldn't be too surprised by her uncouth outburst as Maya had once proven herself to be thick skinned and crass, and it would be stupid to deny her accusations, when it seems Maya already had a clear line of thought laid out in her mind, and neither would anyone believe when there was undeniable evidence against her.
