There was something Alex hated most about rumors, and it was the fact that no one was concerned enough to know the truth, and people were only interested in talking about those involved with no care whatsoever about how they were affected.

And neither did the bloggers and entertainment journalists ever truly investigate before writing their articles which had the ability to tarnish someone's reputation and life, and in this case, that someone was Vanessa. Her life and job were currently on the line.

The board had moved for an emergency shareholders meeting, with Vanessa Scott being the prevailing topic of discussion, as well as her urgent dismissal from Moore Apparel.

"Mr. Moore," A voice called from across the table, snapping Alex out of his thoughts. Alex shifted his eyes to the middle-aged man who he was sure had called for his attention.
