Tyler's POV

As I lay on my bed, I couldn't stop looking back at what happened seven years ago.

"You chose Emily and Anika over Ara, yet you looked like a messed right now," Earl asked after I joined him at the table. I texted him I would be coming to his restaurant to drink some beer, but the truth is I needed someone to talk to, or else I would go crazy.

I don't know how to answer my cousin because I know after Arabella left, I broke my own heart for the second time when I let go of her. I know what I have done to Ara was unforgivable. Still, I don't have a choice but to let her go because Ara has no future with me since I was stuck with Emily since I could never run away from my responsibility as a father to Anika.
