Chapter 80: Author's Note for Volume One
The first volume has been finished! It was a rather long beginning, I must admit, but I do feel like it was worth it!
Now that the first volume has been completed, I can reveal a little secret: it's actually a novel I write in Chinese! As I translate to English, I attempt to retain the traditional word format and literary structure of my culture, which may appear as unsettling for some readers. As I progress, I will attempt to make it as readable as possible. Please do bear with some of the subtle differences between Western and Oriental writing styles!
As some of you may already know by now, there is a new platform for writers opening sometime in February called MoonQuill. After reviewing the various comments and reviews, I have sadly come to the consensus that this type of novel is frankly, not suitable for the Webnovel readerbase. Hence, it will migrate to the MoonQuill platform in the future (I will still update on both platforms).
Soon, a new novel will start! The title will be posted in the author's notes for the beginning of volume 2, and will be uploaded to WN soonafter. Please do give it a read!
