Chapter 14: Ch 14: A call for help - Part 1

"What do you think you are doing in there? Is the bathroom a place for you to lock yourself inside? How did you even manage to do that?"

Daniel questioned Anabella while rubbing his brows. He looked like he was in pain but trying to make sense of things.

Thinking about this situation more clearly made Daniel realize that his words did not make sense. How can a person lock themselves inside the bathroom?

James's guilty expression also helped Daniel understand what could have happened. But by the time he gathered his wits, it was too late to do anything about it.

He had already lashed out at Anabella and blamed her for things that had not even happened.

Anabella's expression was neutral, but her eyes looked angry when she looked at Daniel. This made her feel fear and guilt at the same time.

"I…would like to head to my room now. I don't feel well at the moment."
