Months has passed since he began training Charlotte, everyday he would go hard on training her in the skills he picked up from his female teammates who were the living definition of femme fatale.
Everything from fighting styles like Wing Chun, Krav Maga, Mui Thai and Capoeira fighting styles. Helping her on flexibility to the point of been able to contort her body to the point and the acupuncture pressure points like Ty Lee, how to use tools and gadgets he made for her like grappling hook, guns, smoke bombs and so on.
He eventually took her inside of speedforce, enhancing her not to age but also to care for her essential needs like hunger or thirst, one day in real world equals to anything between minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or even years inside.
Taking care to bring her out of the Speedforce after each training in order not to isolate her, he needed to be sure that even if she's not as strong as many supes she could hold her own.
By constantly channeling the Speedforce through her, that somehow kick-started her own regeneration factor to the point of being comparable to wolverine, he trained her well as on how to increase her pain tolerance and other skills he personally knew.
Even though he was spending time to train his girlfriend, he did not neglect his own. Training to familiarize his body with the skills of his past life, his Speedforce abilities like phasing, speed mirage, lightning throw, and many other abilities he had the knowledge of.
The time spent with Charlotte, only enhanced their relationship and trust with each other to another level. He even discovered her hidden talent of using bow and arrows, buying all the necessary materials needed he crafted her compound bow, with it being able to collapse into two electrical batons.
Turns out her hidden skill was that of a sharpshooter being able to do trick shots from even the seemingly impossible angles, her claws became even more vicious with a solid fighting style backing it up.
It seemed to Reggie that she only needed to bring her hidden gifts to the surface, while making his occasionally needed appearance at Vought Tower in order to not draw suspicion.

He made good relations with Translucent, who occasionally makes him hang out every once in a while with him for a beer or to just relax.
Meave mellowed out of her ice queen persona when they were on their own, even invited him on occasional spar.
The Deep just avoided him all together, not even bothering to look in his direction to which he was grateful.
Black Noir is just Black Noir with a puppet even having more life than him, Reggie once sat down to play moonlight sonata on the piano, the haunting melody echoing from the room before someone sat next to him look to his side he saw Black Noir.
They did not exchange words as both continued with the music, the part each of them played completed the other's melody in symphony. So with both of them playing the piano together sometimes, so Reggie could somewhat say that they're bonding in music.
Homelander kept his distance, only kept his eyes on him from afar except for their team meeting. Reggie occasionally caught Homelander, staring at him at random times to the point of plain creepiness.
Aside from those things happening, when it came to his wealth he could proudly say that he's not financially dependent on Vought anymore by opening offshore accounts with different names in many countries. And then used them to invest in things to bring him even more income without him having to lift a finger.
Today's the day that the plot begins with that domino effect that would tip to the beginning of the story, the difference been that he was not the junkie this time it was another speedster Shockwave who wants to surpass him.
With both Meave and Homelander doing their 'Rescuing' by completing their crime itinerary, The speedster was the courier now and was running with him being high on Compound V with a backpack in a random direction.
A-train seeing that plot regardless of his intervention continued in it's destined path followed him, up ahead he saw a couple standing together with one been off the curb for the first time a while Reggie activated his connection to the Speedforce.
Blue arc's of lightning started appearing with them traveling through his body and eyes that glowed blue with power blasted in an enhanced burst of speed, time seemed to have frozen with him stopping ahead of Shockwave before giving him a shove that launched him to a random building.
Time resumed with the speedster crashing in a random wall, the civilian couple screaming in fright at his sudden appearance.
"Lady I would recommend you to look both ways before stepping off the curb, and you Sir try not to make meaningless arguments. Life is to short so we never know when we may lose the ones we love...well I wish you the best of luck, and remember always be careful."
Giving them two fingered salute, A-train sped of taking the groaning speedster who was just standing up by the throat and disappeared.
Hughie still in shock hugged Robin as he sobbed in relief that she's safe, if that was not a sign for him to take their relationship to the next stage he did not know what would.
"We are going home." He told Robin, breaking her off her jump scare.
"What are you talking about Hughie?" She asked him, taking her hand and leading her in one direction he said with a firm face.
"I don't care neither need my dad's approval, we are letting him know about us. Whether he likes it or not."
What they did not notice was a certain someone who saw the whole exchange, before grunting as he turned and disappeared amongst the crowd.
Back to Reggie he stopped at a random alleyway of Hell's Kitchen tossing Shockwave causing his back to collide against the wall, approaching him Reggie looked pissed as he asked with anger coloring his tone.
"Are you out of your damned mind? You nearly killed someone today you fool!!"
"What's it to you?!!! Huh?!!
So what??!!!
What are those freaking nobodies gonna do? Vought's got my back anyway!" Shockwave said in indignation.
"Is that so? Do you really believe yourself to be above the law? That you're invicible?" Reggie asked him with his face turning emotionless.
Looking at the sweat covered speed junky as he got his bag as he stood up about to speed off, Reggie instantly got In front of him with Shockwave's neck in hand raising him by the throat effortlessly.
His eyes began glowing blue with barely contained power as he raised his right hand that started to vibrate at frightening speed it started to buzz before Reggie warned him in a eerily calm voice.
"One reason, just give me one reason and I'll make sure your running days are over. Better pray I don't catch your fuck ups or I'll end you, Permanently is that understood?"
Chills went down his spine as Shockwave could barely recognize A-train anymore, nodding frantically in barely hidden fright Reggie let go of him as Shockwave ran away in fear of his life.
