Chapter 25: Idiots and lovers

No matter what kind of earthquakes happen in your personal life, you still have to get up and go to work. Rose also had to do that.

She had now a closet full of clothes. Of different colors. It was before dominated by black and white. But now, she prefers colors according to her mood.

She was really happy today. Because of the direction she desperately needed in her life, she found it. So what, if she was stuck here, she could still find her way back, eventually.

She chose to wear a purple shirt and black pants. Nice. She looked professional.

She hummed and entered the building.

"Hey, Rose!"

Who was calling her? Should she turn or go ahead as if she didn't hear? It was a split-second decision.

Rose was about to walk forward.

"ROSE!"

She remembered this voice. It was June.

She mentally slapped herself. No one else was close enough to call her or yell her name.

Rose turned on her charm and gave her a big smile.
