"You don't even know… and yet you want to do it, come on, even you can tell this is a dumb idea, right, Ethan?" Ryan remarked, his countenance still in close proximity to Ethan's.
"I do know, and that's exactly why I'm telling you to leave with the girls, I'll find a way to handle it without drawing a scene." Ethan responded calmly, shifting his gaze towards the enigmatically cloaked girl before resuming his discourse.
"Seeing as you are willing to help, I'm guessing someone you care for is being locked up inside the village too?" He inquired, prompting a frustrated and wavering grunt from Ryan.
"Yes, a friend of mine, although she is not a child, and some of our village members are among the prisoners." The young woman responded.
"Good, that means I can trust you are willing to put in as much effort as I plan to, although, I doubt you'd go through with this half heated." Ethan declared, advancing toward her.
