Chapter 155: Chapter 155: A Mate Bond

"Yeah, it was like that," I explained to Ryker when we were inside the car. He worried about me last night that he didn't sleep a wink.

He told me that while sleeping, he suddenly felt like I was in distress and before he could even react, he shifted into his wolf form and ran to where I was.

"How heartless that Luna if she took you out of her, Love. It's just too cruel," Ryker commented before grabbing my left hand and intertwining it with his while the other was on the steering wheel. "But don't worry about it because you have your own body, and you have me. It's just us."

I looked at him as he kissed the back of my hand. 

"I love you, love," he said. 

"I love you too," I answered him, smiling.
