Chapter 14: CHAPTER 13

She opened her eyes to the smell of bacon and fried eggs. Her stomach started grumbling the second she saw the plate of food besides her. She opened her eyes fully and saw her husband sitting on the bed holding a mug of coffee. She smiled at him, it was a nice gesture and very romantic. This was their first day after getting married and he was serving her breakfast in bed.

'Good morning,' she greeted with a smile.

'Good morning babe. Wake up and have you breakfast,' he said.

She straightened herself up and put the pillows behind her back. He placed the tray in from of her. She picked up the fork and took the eggs first. She took her time with them and they were not bad at all.

'Did you cook this?' she asked as she swallowed them.

'Yes I did. Who else is here?' he asked jokingly.

'You wouldn't know; you are a greater cook than me. You should cook often,' she said as she shoved more eggs in her mouth.
